Any suggestions for an easy to re-installing of a bx2230 bucket to lifting arms? I remove to replace with a root bucket I have and I have a hard time replacing the loader bucket itself( not arms). Appreciate info on any videos , pictures advice. Thanks Fred

do the job on a level, flat concrete pad really helps
use 4 big 'drifts' to 'rough align' the bucket to the loader

I welded 1/2”diameter x 3” or 4” long bar stock to my pins to give me handles to remove and install the pins. I replaced the bolts with linch pins. It makes it much easier swapping between my bucket and pallet forks. Setting the bucket on a dolly also helps with aligning the holes.

Thanks for all suggestions. Does it matter which pins are inserted first...Piston or bucket. I have perfect alignment .

the 'trick' is to NOT fully install ANY pin. you use drifts 'long tapered pins' so slowly get the bucket to line up with all 4 joints.usually the ends of the loader arms can be pinned first, as the cylinders will have more 'give'

Should not be hard on a bucket that size. I am not a big man and at my age not all that strong. All I have ever needed on a similar size loader is a small hammer for driving the pins home. I put the bucket face down on the ground and drop the boom into those slots. Pin them on then raise the bucket off the ground. Rotate it up and back to connect the rod ends. Hardest part is synching the second rod end after the first is connected.
