I was told that you can check hydro level at any time, with loader/backhoe any position and the fluid would be the same level. Well, that wasnt true, diff positions produced diff results, so, I started the tractor to see what the running level was, like in a auto trans car. When I pulled the filler plug, the tranny was LOADED with air bubbles.
I thought the tractor was low on fluid, but, playing with the implements, I would get either a perfect level, or, over filled level, so, it has/had enough fluid. I started it back up and it would foam up again.
It seems to foam up to the bottom of the filler plug hole. Thats about 1"-2" or so of space before the normal level is.
Is that normal?
