Newbie with BX2680 Hydraulic Control Lever question

When using the Hydraulic Control Lever to raise/lower the mid mount mowing deck the 3 point hitch moves up and down with the mower deck. Is this normal or is there a lock out to keep the 3 pt hitch stationary?

The mid mount mower is raised by/ connected to the 3 Point Hitch mechanism.

If the 3 point hitch doesn’t go up/down neither does the mower.

I had the same problem using my three point hitch for my sprayer. (I spray fire lanes and require the mower to be all the way up. When I did, the sprayer would run into the back of the seat as well as my sun over attached to the roll bar!) Ultimately I was able to use the additional holes on the tractor 3 point system to mount it so that it would not move up/down with the mower deck. Hope this might help you.

Have found not to push the lever all the way to keep the 3 point from moving when moving the mower deck. Would be nice if there was a way to lock the 3 point in top position like there is one for the deck.

unsure about 2380 but 2370 where the 3 pt arms go up and down you can undo the pins and connect to other holes so the 3 point stays same level
