For the second time in two years my B3350SU would not complete a parked regeneration Had the dealer pick up tractor. The reformer needs to be replaced. I had one Reformer replaced under the original 5 year Emissions Warranty. Since then the dealer replaced two more reformers and a burner pot under the Lifetime Emissions Warranty. In total over $10,000.00 in parts and who knows how mush labor and I have yet to pay a dime. The tractor cost $28,000.00. Seems it would have been cheaper for Kubota to buy back the B3350SU's.

The parts did not cost Kubota anything close to $10K. Warranty labor is a different matter but my guess is Kubota's cost is not what you pay.

Glad Big K is taking good care of you. Maybe you ought to offer to sell it to them? That unit has caused more than one person a lot of grief.

Sorry to hear of your problems but great to hear of Kubota's response.

Gluten for punishment? I’d think you could find one for sale. Looks like they still want real money for some of them.

Three reformers and DPFs would certainly exceed $10K.

curious was I ...
From the Cdn website, the DPF for a B3350HSD retails for $4207.

What I don't know is their markup or the 'chain' from maker to dealer is. Kubota could be paying $2K though very doubtful. I suspect less than $500 per DPF. If that DPF is used in several models, the cost per unit goes down as it'll be 'volume' based pricing.

Who cares what Kubota paid or didn't pay? Bigger question is why would anyone want to own a tractor that has (or needs) all that crap?

I live north of Spokane not far from you. Make an offer and I will sell you my B3350SU. I am thinking of buying the LX4020.
I believe Wolfman's comment is sarcasm.

The reformer costs much more than does the DPF and is used on the 3350 and one model of F series mower only.

Trust me, Kubota is not selling anything that they can source for $500 (or even $2k) for $4K+ retail or anything close.

When you need a new machine (for business), and there is no alternative.

A friend just bought a nearly new Kubota M62 TLB.
Sadly, there was no alternative!

You bought a B3350 2 years ago? The issues with this machine have been known for some time longer that 2 years....asking as no reputable dealer would sell this lemon of a machine.

Sure you havent paid a dime...but you are also without a tractor while it is in the shop right? That could be a bunch of lost work time.

"lost work time"?
I do not think that many of us use these small machines for paid "work"
