This is my first post, I have an issue with the front linkage on my B7610's Mid Mount Mower. The part that attaches to the mower bracket wears on the front roller and I am wondering if anyone knows how this is supposed to look? I have attached a photo, thank you!

Welcome to the forum!

Right off the bat - the part in blue is incorrectly placed.

You would not happen to have a picture of how it is supposed to look? So you are saying that I do not even need the additional bracket that they had used to mount the linkage to the MMM? Just attach the linkage directly to the MMM front bracket? I appreciate such a prompt reply.

I don't run a MMM, I run a rear off the PTO...but I think he's saying the two linkages circled in red should go up and over into the hooks with the arrows. That would make sense.

I will give that a try and report my results, that is what I thought he meant and it is what looked logical to me at first. the configuration is how it was when I purchased the tractor and I had looked all over the net trying to find a definitive answer before posting here. Thank you both for the awesome analysis!

The pins with the washer and hair pin clip on it goes into the slot on the mower first, then the other set of pins on the bracket goes into the slot after to lock everything into place.

Awesome, that makes perfect sense now, the additional bracket is actually a locking mechanism, thank you all!

Thank you all who posted for your knowledge and experience, this is what makes a great forum. I reconfigured the front linkage this morning and tested it, with wonderful results, of course. I wonder how long the previous owner had used it this way as the lift was never working properly. Thanks again and the attached photo is how it turned out.

That’s exactly how it is supposed to be. It’s kind of a strange setup to figure out if you don’t know how it is supposed to be. Makes a huge difference when it’s put together correctly.

So I just purchased a deck and am having issues figuring out front mount. After you did this adjustment did you have to adjust the arms out on the turnbuckle?
