What is the difference in these three rear remotes? The top two (blue and green arrows) might be the same but the bottom (red arrow) is definitely different.
I apologize. 2011 M9540Would really help if you told us what tractor it is on!
Based purelynon visual appearance the top two have a 4th spool position - possibly float but cpuld be anything. The bottom one has a different end cap - could be a 4th position of some sort or automatic detents. No way of knowing if any of that is accurate without documentation.View attachment 111374

Sounds very reasonable. Five positions is 3 position spring center with a self canceling detent in the 4th and 5th? That would be handy.Typically the first valve, (bottom) is a self-canceling detent. That is a 5 position valve. Detents at both ends and kicks out-closed when the rod reaches the end of its stroke.
The top 2 look like float featured valves.
Just a guess based on some experience.
It sounds like you are describing the hydraulic setup for a 3 section batwing brush hog. Floating the two wings and canceling the lift cylinder at the top and bottom of the stroke.Typically the first valve, (bottom) is a self-canceling detent. That is a 5 position valve. Detents at both ends and kicks out-closed when the rod reaches the end of its stroke.
