Mini digger won’t start

Hi
I have a Kubota mini digger, with a really odd problems, it will not start unless i push or pull one of the drive hydraulic levers !
I simply turn over but won’t start, push one of the levers whilst turning it over and starts?
any ideas ?

Oh it’s a 3 cylinder diesel

Make sure the lock lever is all the way back: to the left of the seat:

Amazing thanks very much for the advice, not sure where the lock lever is but will check, our digger is a B10-30

I have literally changed everything trying to find out what the problem is !

I have a Kubota B-10-30 mini digger, with a really odd problem, it turns over fine it seems to be trying to start but unless I push or pull one of the drive hydraulic levers it will not run !
It simply turns over & won’t start, push one of the levers whilst turning it over and starts absolutely fine.
any ideas ?
