B7100 loader

I built a loader for another tractor want to put it on my b7100 are that tractors hydrolics enough or do I need another pump. Thanks

Forum member Torch built his loader for a B7100 and I believe used the tractor's hydraulics but check with him. It is really question of the speed you want.

Torch was having clutch disk failures which were traced back to the tractor flexing from the loader loads so do a lot of homework on the forum to avoid breaking your machine.

I have owned 3 different B7100's over the years. One used the tractors engine mounted hydraulic pump for the loader. It was considerably slower than the others with the front mounted crankshaft driven pumps on the other two, Just guessing I would say about 1/2 the speed.

Really that much slower the guy at the kubota dealer laughed when I asked jom about the shaft in the front to run the pump.

Yes that front shaft and coupler to run the front mounted pump has long been obsolete.
You would have to make your own.

I can't imagine using a FEL that was half the speed of the one that uses the crankshaft mounted pump. That would be incredibly painful.

My thoughts exactly.
There are times when my crankshaft pump powered FEL isn't fast enough.

It is also possible that the loader had larger diameter cylinders contributing to the slower operation. It was not a Kubota 219 loader like the other two.

Thank you that's a good point I'm going too try the tractors hydrolic s and see how slow it is . Can't find the shaft for the front and it's going to be a lot of work to rig something up for another pump

You can easily calculate the speed using the bore and stroke of the cylinders.

Vevor, and probably other direct from Chiii-nah retailers, sells a hydraulic pump that just slips over the PTO. You would have to fabricobble some basic brackets to hold it in place. Not sure if it's an option that would work for you.

That is how the B670 BH is set up.

One HUGE issue with a PTO pump is that every time you hit the clutch you loose hydraulic operation.
Very very annoying to say the least!

Indeed!!!! Ask any old Ford or Ferguson owner about how well that works.

Thank you everyone for your help hooked the loader up to the regular pump last weekend it seamed to work fine. Going to start changing the loader next weekend

Saw a post where someone built a shaft using couplers like on engine driven water pumps and such said if memory serves around 100$ to build it
