My brother was gifted a Belarus tractor which had a loader on it. It was a pile of junk but it worked, well mostly. He loaned it to someone he knows, who was using it, and broke it in half just like the one in the original post. How? Good question. I understand the borrower can tear up an anvil with a handful of feathers.
Years later my brother asked to borrow my tractor. Mind you my tractor is also a pile of junk. I said yeah sure but be easy on it because it's already falling apart. Weeks go by. Finally I asked where it was at, cause I was needing it. "Dingleberry's got it"....I came UNGLUED because he's the one who broke the Belarus, and a bunch of other stuff over the years. I left work immediately and went & got my tractor back, and it has not left, nor will it leave, my possession again until I decide to sell it which may come soon. MF 1140, swapped to an 1145 engine (turbo).
