What’s in my front tires?

I got this machine used and went to air up the tires. The back ones are normal but the front are sealed in the valve stem. Is this puncture sealant or something else. The tires feel hard but I can’t check the pressure. One of the valve stems feels like it’s barely attached so I’m not sure if there is any air in the tire. Any ideas?

Foam filled?
They are usually rock hard.

Thanks for the input. This was a Home Depot rental in its previous life. I’ve heard the front tires on the B26 can have issues and some use tubes. Guess I won’t need that. One of the R4’s is backwards for the directional tread and I wanted to flip the tire but it can just stay that way.

Is the wheel mounted in reverse..? This can be done to adjust the track-width… perhaps someone has reversed one side and not the other?

They are not reversible. It came from a rental fleet and must have been swapped along the way. I noticed the front wheels have stickers that say 2020 vs the rears 2018. Some of the mysteries of buying used equipment.

Maybe I won a little with the foam filling but just have to deal with a backwards tire. This is the right front.

How about pics of both rear wheels from the side…and then a pic of both rear wheels from about 10’ behind the tractor?

I've heard somewhere in the past where 4X4 trucks or jeeps would put a couple tires on backwards for better traction in reverse. But since it was a rental, probably done by mistake.

..OR…. a damaged tire was replaced with a complete or salvaged wheel from another tractor upon which the tire was already mounted.
