All lug bolts tight, but slight play when I push and pull on both front wheels, housing behind rim does not seem to move but I can feel movement between rim and housing, whats up?
Thanks for the reply, I will check it out. That model has a unique front end, and it has a nut for hub lash like on a trailer axle or a truck axle.
I would get the WSM to find out how to set it.

Thanks for the info, not leaking and does turn smoothly, I was worried the wheels would break off, I will see what is going on asap.If the hubs turn smoothly without leaking or making noise, you can probably live with minor bearing lash. If you decide to go in, here's a WSM page for the L5450 - same constuction as the l4150. May need to improvise pullers for the cover and seal. The hub nut is lightly tightened to eliminate bearing play and staked in place. Check that the hub still turns smoothly. Take care, Dick B.

Front end loaders on these models are rated up to 2500 lb so everything is pretty rugged . The bearings might get worn - but something actually breaking off is unheard of in my experience. Thanks for the info, not leaking and does turn smoothly, I was worried the wheels would break off, I will see what is going on asap.
