"When you can take the trailer off, tip it upside-down and give it a little shake without losing anything, you have it bound down right."
don't forget.. you MUST say "that's not going anywhere" when you are done strapping any load.

Great, now you guys have gone and done it. Looks like I'll be upgrading my jaw breakers...

Thanks a lot!

JK. I like the ones posted from amazon link. They look like decent binders and I like that the handle folds.

These tie down loops are rated for 5000lbs they line up with 2 frame holes so I will have to get some grade 8 bolts. going to weld 4 of them on the trailer frame inside the fenders because the trailer isn’t just for towing the tractor. Got my chains cut and 5/16 slip hooks put on one end of each. Got 4 puke green ratchets. Now I just need a reason to take it somewhere.

They make this stuff called "Spray Paint"; you can color them Orange (or John Deere green if you're some kind of weirdo)....

:p
haha. I will probably paint them Kubota orange at the same time I rebuild my finishing mower. Or just keep them bright puke green so they are easy to see lol

The color was an obvious sign I'd eventually be buying orange? Hmm.

Previously purchased, so I'll be using these for securing my 23S

I am also a recent convert from straps to binders.

I got these

https://www.myteeproducts.com/peerless-folding-handle-quikbinder-plus-ratchet-binder.html

I really like the folding handle. It helps reduce "stooping over" when ratcheting them down.
I considered changing over to chains and binders, but would still want straps making contact at the tractor end.

At this point I'm not sure what I'll do. Once the dealer delivers it, I'll do the mock-up on my trailer and go from there.

I am of similar mind, as I did not want to scratch it up.

Thats why I made a front chain plate, and for the rear I use a 'big ole shackle' through either the draw bar or the BH tie down points.

Once my 23S gets delivered next week, I'll have a better plan.
