5ft landscape rake on B7200 HST?

I’m going to start taking care of my neighbor’s 250 ft(+or-) reclaim driveway . Is a 5 ft landscape rake too much for my 17hp B7200HST to handle?

I wanted to be able to make angle adjustments to control the material and was concerned that a 4ft would be too small. The rear width of the tractor is 42”.

Any input appreciated.

It will be fine - I had a 5' er behind my B7100 and it worked fine.

Now - if you are trying to level out gravel going up a hill - you may have some wheel spin!

But the 5 foot will angle and cover your tracks!

Great. Thank you 85Hokie. I was looking at a 5 ft Countyline at a nearby TSC. Looks well built. Weighs just under 200 lbs.
Was hoping to save a few bucks and buy used but there only a couple 5’ ones around and they want nearly the price of a new one.
Was also looking at some online models. Considerably less expensive but also weigh much less, which raises concern about durability.

My B7200DT handles a 6' rake just fine.

You do need to understand that TSC "Countyline" implements are built by Tarter Gate, and are usually built to the cheapest/lowest possible specs.
Probably just fine for a 17Hp tractor though.

Landscape rakes are not very demanding of either hp or traction so you can go on the big side and still be ok. 5’ would be minimum i would consider, 6’ would be fine too unless it was gonna give you serious maneuverability issues.
