Problems with moving shuttle shift

When I pull the lever it takes awhile for it to lift. Once it lifts up then the tractor moves. Any ideas? I think its hydraulic related. The 3 point will engage if the throttle is high. The lever to the shuttle shift does move,but it won't engage the axle. Its 1984. Just had clutch replaced.

Have you serviced the hydraulic oil and cleaned the filter. Are you saying the tractor will not move? Does the PTO work?

Yes. There is hydraulic fluid leaking into the motor.

Then you have an issue with the hydraulic system.
Bad pump shaft seals or bad pump and or dead headed system.
You need to fix the pump seal and test pressures.

I replaced the shaft seal that goes into the adapter to the engine and still have hydraulic fluid leaking into the engine

Are you talking about the three point or the shuttle lever?

Are you talking about the shuttle lever or the three point?

Is the hydraulic system stock or are there any added valves or added loader, running off the hydraulics?
