HF Quick Hitch questions...again

Good to know, Vince. My terms to describe must be off. The TSC adapters are about $40/pair at TSC. The 3 pt hook up pins need adapters, so they say. There are some cheaper ones on ebay and amazon, I am learning. It's a slow process for me. I can't weld and envisioned of just putting the QH on and riding off into the sunset with implement attached...no effort! Once again, I was wrong.

I recommend measuring the width of the lower mounts on all your attachments and compare it to the width of the QH. Note that there is a width tolerance of only 1-2" for the QH to mate up to the lower pins. I tried the HF QH, and it wouldn't fit enough of my implements to be useful; now it sits behind my shop collecting pine needles.Good to know, Vince. My terms to describe must be off. I bought the Pat's setup and am happy with it. If your 3-point implements are PTO-driven you have to get off the tractor anyway to hook up the drive shaft, so the QH only saves time & effort for moving pieces around the yard.
Also, I suggest you look a little harder for the CAT1-CAT2 adapters - you seem to be finding an expensive set. I've bought many of them and they're generally a couple bucks each.
Showmedata, I am beginning to understand about the implement issue so I'm working through things. Pat's system is beginning to make more sense.
As far as the adapters go, I'd like to know where they are available for "a couple of bucks each." We don't have a rural king around here but here is a link to show what I'm talking about. The shipping from RK sends these up to almost $40 for 2. Ebay has some for about $18 including shipping. That's a bit more than a couple of bucks.

So if you remember sweet corn at $1/dozen that SpeedCo at $320 is a relative bargain. At the comparison to the corn price it would cost $140 x 8 = $1120.One of the problems for me is that I remember when sweet corn was $1/dozen so it's hard to get in line with today's prices.
I have a Speed Co setting somewhere in the "storage"area. Bought it 10 years ago thinking I'm saving time and wear and tear on me. No such thing. Most every implement was/is a different width at the pins and didn't fit the QH. Too much work changing implements to fit.
I figure getting on and off the tractor is similar to parking at the outer edge of a parking lot while shopping, it beats going to the gym! When it gets to where I find hitching implements too much I will quit using them..... or have a dedicated machine for it.

The ones at Tractor Supply Co that @animals45 linked yesterday are $3.86 each. Just throwing this out there:
-Most QH's are CAT3 on the implement side, not CAT2 as often stated.
-We have completed bushing sets and extended hooks for most QH's also in stock. Support a little guy that gives back to the community, not Amazon.

If there is a way to find out what is available at the "little guy," I'm always open for that. I rarely buy at Amazon just because they are not the little guy!

Ah, are you looking for something that modifies the QH, not the implement? If so, I misunderstood.

The problem has been my description, I believe. The adapters go on the implement...over the two existing hook up pins. Keeps the implement from coming off the QH. They are referred to as QH adapter bushings.

Hmm. I'm pretty sure that's what I referred to. That's the simple bushing linked at TSC. Or on the BOH site they're called "lift arm bushings", $14 for the set that, if I read it correctly, includes 6 pieces for both lower pins and the top pin. That's cheap AND easy.

I'm only using a picture from Amazon because it's easy. I don't buy from Amazon but here is a picture...Quick Hitch bushing kit for $46.99 It's the ones with the shoulder that have to go over the two existing 3 point pins that go into the lift arms for hookup.
