I am contemplating acquisition of a front BX2822A snowblower for my B2601 ('22) and would like to configure an attachment for connecting the blower hydraulic system to the Swift-Tach receptacle located on the tractor after loader removal. In other words, I'd like to adapt a Swift-Tach 4-hose inline adapter to the blower so it will smoothly attach hydraulically (plan to use electrical deflector). This project may involve 4 new hoses along with a new Swift-Tach 'half'; could even require fabrication of hose supports, etc.

It's my understanding that the BX2822A blower hydraulics perform up-down of the box, and swiveling of the discharge chute.

Has anyone attempted such a hydraulic adaptation? (K-Connect & driveshaft frame needed of course)

I'll understand if users of the Swift-Tach connector had seen issues; I personally have not; I'm evaluating the theoretical usage of the connector to mate to the blower system. Thanks in advance for ideas or suggestions :)

Some members have a post with all the part numbers to just install the pioneer couplers, I would go this route as the snowblower goes on and stays on until winter is over. It is only four couplers and not worth the risk with the Swift-tach setup. If you want to go the Swift-Tach I am sure some members will dig in their trash can and sell you that one. I believe this is the part you are looking for https://www.messicks.com/part/7J066...t=Kubota #-,7J066-85020,-COUPLER(QUICK MOBILE and is only about $700 plus shipping. For that amount of money you could install a hydraulic chute deflector if you already have the third fucntion.

Actually, reading the above-mentioned thread ...'worst Kubota parts ever'... was what got me thinking of adapting the blower to the Swift-Tach coupler initially.

I think it's a valid, doable adaptation. Hose supports are the most questionable aspect at this juncture.

Should be just about trivial. How else;would you accommodate loader and blower? Just remember your loader valve likely has regen on the bucket spool and that won't play nice with a hydraulic motor.

My loader joystick that goes up and down controls the lift cylinder of the snowblower. Can't remember what the dump function does(I think chute rotates faster). I do miss using the third function(chute deflection) and chute rotation to blast mice while snow blowing. I have never tried to blast the farm cats either while snowblowing.
