Why does kubota paint fade so quickly and bad?

Liquid Glass is my personal favorite on faded dull kubota paint, I personally used it on 2 tractors I bought and you just cant believe the results.

That probably has something to do with it. Red does, too- I noticed the Mahindra's fading on the local lot, before they went out of business. I've seen numerous new Kubota's on the local lot with faded paint, but they bring it back real easy with some compound and wax. It isn't permanent.

Any paint with the red pigment absorbs more of the ultraviolet spectrum and fads faster. Ever noticed an old International that sat out a lot, they are more rust colored than red.

Keeping it under cover when not is use will help keep the paint fresh for a while. If you can put it in a building that would be great if not put a tarp on it to keep the sun light off.

my l 3719 is a '99. and still looks new. never leave it out when not in use. never been waxed either.

My 7100 has been kept under cover its whole life, and both the orange and the gray look good. The gray oxidizes bad when left to sit outside.

Not just orange. I've seen some badly faded green, blue and red tractors.

I've never waxed a tractor though...

most heavy equipment, tractors, attachments etc. are painted with alkyd enamels.
Alkyd enamel is fifty year old paint technology, remember the old VW,s from the fifty's and sixty's. Alkyds in general have poor performance characteristics but are cheep compared to the urethane enamel's used in automotive paint's.

My 9000 is going on 9 yrs old and a buddy stopped by the other day and thought I had bought a new tractor. Wax does wonders.

You asked for Liquid Glass, and they gave you stopleak? The problem isn't Kahuna's information, but the person behind the counter! Liquid Glass is a brand of car polish, and will be on the car care isle.

IPZ, if you can't find liquid glass see if they have Zymol. It goes on easy and really does a nice job also. Either one will make the orange shine bright.

Zymol is good but really Liquid Glass is amazing, I bought a used 7100 6 years ago and the orange was dead dog tired, I used Liquid Glass and WOW! you would have thought I repainted it. Bought another 7100 this year (yeah I know how many do you need) this one was a 92 painted in New Orange or Bright Orange, well it looked bad, maybe that's why I picked it up cheap, anyhow, out comes the Liquid Glass, what ! I can't believe this, another orange brought back to life, my neighbor said, no way is that thing 20 years old, but it is, Liquid Glass really works.
