Treddle Pedal operation

I have a Kubota B2650 with a front bucket, mid mounted mower and backhoe with hydrostatic transmission. Shortly after starting and running the tractor, the treddle pedal starts to stick. It will not push forward or push backwards. The sticking prevents me from speeding up, slowing down or stopping the tractor with the treddle pedal. The only way to stop the tractor is to stomp on the foot brake. Once stopped, I shift into neutral and the pedal moves forward and backwards freely. Once in gear the symptoms re appear. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

I know nothing about B’s but no one else seems to be answering. Thread linked below may provide some things to check out.

Have you greased the grease fitting on the shaft the pedal pivots on? Have you gotten down and looked to make sure there isn’t any sticks caught in the linkage under the floorboard?

Thanks. I have the same problem with the safety switch. Mine sticks as well and if I get up off the seat, the tractor shuts off - like it is supposed to. I tried lubricating it but it is sticking on the inside. Replacing it seems like an extraordinary feat due to the subframe for the loader/backhoe. At least I know what that problem is.

Thanks for the reply. I have crawled under to look for such culprits as sticks and rocks without avail. I will again and look more closely.
I know the manual says there is a grease fitting for the treadle pedal. But I sure cannot find it. Is it accessible from the bottom or from the top side where there is an access cover? It seems very elusive. The only grease fitting in the vicinity I see is for the mower deck elevating pivot points.

Look for a small flap in the floor mat by the pedal hinge point. Lift it clean out the debris and the grease fitting is there.
