L6060 radiator fan replacement

Hello,
I’m looking for help with a radiator fan replacement. We had a stick get lodged up underneath and broke off all of our fan blades! I have a replacement fan, but are having trouble getting it installed, and getting the old one off.

i’ve seen some forums, and some guides replacing it on different models, which essentially suggest taking off the shroud and the radiator. i started doing this, but it seems like there are a lot of things in the way. Many comments on those forums suggested it was easy, and it does not seem to be “easy“ on my tractor!… Trying to get things uninstalled to remove the shroud to get access, in my ignorance, also unscrewed an aluminum tubing going to a radiator type thing in the front of the tractor. It’s not the radiator, it’s not the cooling oil thing according to the manual, and a lot of gas/air was released, so I’m guessing it’s for the air conditioner? (We have a cab on it) If somebody can reassure me that I didn’t totally screw my tractor up I would be grateful! I can definitely live with a busted AC.

If you unscrewed an aluminum line on a radiator thingy and a lot of air/gas came out, pretty sure you took a line off the air conditioning condenser and released the coolant in the system. Unless you have the tools and knowledge to do it yourself (no offense intended but doesn’t sound likely in the A/C arena) you’ll need to get someone who works on equipment or automotive type A/C to purge and recharge the system. Not exactly free, but not the end of the tractor.

In regard to replacing the fan, I’m no help there. R/R and R/I a bunch of fans but not on a L6060 so don’t know what all is holding it on there.
