Does anyone know where I can buy Cat 1 draw pins (7/8" OD) that don't need to be bolted on? Local Tractor Supply only sells bolt-on ones and I haven't been able to find other types online either. So, something like the top link pin (just the right size).

Do you have a picture of what you mean? I have LP imolements that are cat1 and cat2 and they have a stepped/shouldered pin that serves both cat 1 and 2 and it is simply slid into the implement frame holes then has a lynch pin to hold in place….the pins I have are at least 9” long though and meant as you can use either cat 1 or 2 at same time. See the pic…it’s not the OEM part from LP (which are available at your dealer) but it is similar…is that what you mean? My EA attachments (check the link for the GB60 and look at the pin) came with pins that I think you are describing but for only cat 1 and half the length of what’s in the pic with a the shoulder or step. (Should be able to do on line search and find something at agco or eBay or ag implement parts supplier that has pins. )

The two types of draw pins I have and what I'm finding everywhere are:
draw1.PNG

draw2.PNG

I want something like a top link (but with draw pin diameter of 7/8):
top.PNG

is that what you mean?
Yeah, similar concept, just without the step-down for different categories.

As I've mentioned, I tried searching online but no luck finding non-bolt ones so far. I do find some pins that match description, but prices are insane and I don't know if they're meant for my application.

0K, now I'm really confused... that bolt-on pin mounts on an implement so you can attach to a 3PH. A 'bolt-less' version is just a section of 7/8" steel rod with a 3/16" hole for the lynch pin to go through, that gets welded to the implement frame.
what are you trying to connect ? Maybe post a picture of what you're trying to connect to ?

I want the same pins as this guy is using here:

I am not sure what terms you are using for your search but these come up for me…here is a link…these are at my TSC and Rural king and pretty available online. But maybe that is not what you want? If not that’s the best I can do. Good luck.

The problem is that it's using a tiny lynch pin. Now yes... I can bore out the hole to fit a 7/16 lynch pin, but it'd be nice to find something that's meant to be used for implements, not just to tow a trailer, like this one is.

Every business that sells tractor parts sells those. Our local TSC has bins of those. If they are out of stock, just pay a few bucks more and get it at your dealer.

Exactly like the one I'm referencing in that video? As I've mentioned, locally, I haven't been able to find them.

The pin in the video is just a typical top link/hitch pin. They need a support on both sides of the piece they are goung through. You can buy them in various iengths and TSC usually has a good selection.

Now that I saw the video... you could use that 'bolt-on' version . Simply run the nuts to the end and 'lock nut' them. They become the 'head',slide in, use lynch pin to secure.

Yes, I need a pin that just goes through and isn't bolted on. TSC doesn't have top links of 7/8 diameter. Show me a link on their store where they have it. And sure, they have 7/8 hitch pins, but as I've mentioned above, they are not meant for 7/16 lynch pins normally used for implements. So, I'd have to bore them out.

Hmmm. Allergic to drills? I guess you are just SOL.

Interesting problem

You need a 7/8 diameter (Clevis) pin with a lynch pin hole at the end. Most have the smaller diameter hole for cotter pins.

This one has a padlock hole in the end so could be used if you are okay with the bent end.

I am sure that there are many implements with that type of attachment that is for category 1 lower arms. So it seems odd that it isn’t easy to find the pin. I would ask around at a implement sales and see if you can order spare pins for one of the implements that are category 1

I did locate these that are long so you could get them and get it drilled in the right place for the lynch pin size you want.

Most of the smaller holes are pretty close to the end, meaning the larger hole would need to be offset to the existing hole. Hard to do without a drill press.

Kind of odd they’re not easily located online. I have several that came with implements with clevis style attachments for the lift arms rather than the ones that are bolted onto the implement.

Anyway, is this what you’re looking for?

Edit: Just noticed you already found a supplier per post #4.

Why don't you get the clevis hitch pin you show in post #4 and simply get a linch pin that fits the hole in it? You can get linch pins of various sizes. They all do the same job, keep the pined item in place.

If you are just using it for the top link pin, it doesn’t have to be exactly as you have it. As long as it’s the correct category (diameter) it will work.
