My L3800 would not start so after checking safety switches found that neutral safety switch had come apart. Pushed back together and started but when depressing HST pedal it died. Replaced switch and still dies.
runs great until I move the HST pedal.

does the HST wine and bog down the engine or is it more of an immediate cut off like a safety switch?

When my L3901 does that its because the OPC switch isnt closing.

Check for a blown fuse, or you have ano0ther switch that is bad.
Normally that issue is a bad / maladjusted seat switch or bad neutral / HST switch.

Thanks everyone for your responses. The problem is resolved.
Before I replaced the neutral safety switch I tested all of the safety switches including the seat switch. I unplugged it and tested with ohm meter and it was good so I plugged it back but I didn’t get the plug totally connected and after I started looking here I realized what I had, better yet had not done. Plugged connector completely and everything is working as it should.
Thanks again everyone!
God’s blessings on you all.
