Recently purchased a used Kubota B1750 HST. Found the transmission fluiddipstick. The fluid appears very clear and is hard to see on the dipstick, but appears it is just up to the bottom line. Ordered the Kubota fluid as that is what seller had in there. Now I cannot find where to add it! Found a few posts on the web that didn't help.
I did remove the metal cover in front of the seat, Found the transmission oil filter.
I can take pictures if needed.
Thanks in advance for any help.

It's under the front portion of the operater seat next to the dipstick. A free .pdf copy of the manual is available for download over at kubotabooks.com

Thanks, mine has something attached there. It not just a port...Let me send a picture. I guess I have to find a way to get this off in a really tight space?

I assume you have a loader or something that requires a hydraulic tank return. Someone has it plumed up that way using the full port. You can always fill it through the dipstick tube itself. Kind of a pain but doable.

Thank you so much. Yes it has a Bush Hog loader on it. I think filling through the dipstick would be easier than trying to remove that. Appears it would have to be taken apart in 3 places to get to the port.

That is a hydraulic return line into the hydraulic sump (transmission). I believe the correct term for that line is TANK RETURN.

The hose has a quick disconnect and then you may be able to unscrew it. But it really looks like it will be difficult to unscrew it from the pictures due to the seat frame.

I would recommend you try adding fluid into the dipstick hole if it is large enough for a funnel to fit into it.

Or you may be able to find another port somewhere for that return line.

Thank you for the help. It has a quick disconnect but getting it unscrewed beyond that connection is not easy in the space.
I think a funnel will work.

The other thing you can do for now and towards the future is get another female quick disconnect a barb fitting and a piece of hose and connect a funnel to that.
Or do it the right way and put a tee on the top of the fill port with a cap.

Looks to me like the elbow has a swivel on the filler port end. If so just unscrew it and lay the elbow and attached coupler off to the side. Open end wrench and 30 seconds of work. Then add oil through the adapter screwed into the filler hole. At that point might be easier and faster to remove the adapter as well.

Thanks, I may look into that. Especially if filling in the dipstick hole is a pain.

The reason yours has been plumbed that way is because the return line, originally, ran into a fitting that incorporates a vented fill cap. The problem with that was, that when using the loader, the vent hole would allow returning fluid to spray out, creating a nice mess. I have lived with this problem for many years. My concern was that the vented cap was necessary, eliminating it would cause pressure not released, creating possibly, other problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Negative there is no vent in that fill cab, it a sealed cap.
The vent is under the seat bracket.
