I've got the Model 1200 loader (and have the manual), but would be interested in a .pdf of the L1700 loader manual for reference/comparison/part numbers that Kubota might actually recognize if anyone has one and would be willing to send me a copy. I'd be much obliged.

I have the L1700 on my L245DT and the L1200 on my L235. They seem to be identical and I was told that by a dealer. I have a print out from a dealer for the L1700. Nothing for the L1200.

Hi MikeL,

I am new to the forum and am looking for information on rebuilding the Control Valve on my L245DT L1700 Loader. Does the "print out" you mention include any rebuild, assembly, and adjusting/adjustment information?

Thanks, Frank

Resurrecting an older thread.

While researching a control valve problem, I came across this thread. It's probably a little late for the OP, but I thought I'd offer up the pdf file I have of the L1700 Owner's Manual. Click the link to download and/or save. (The file is 8.6 MB, so it may take a minute to download.)

http://ajk.rockdalenet.com/Kubota/1700_loader_Owners_Manual.pdf

Maintenance of the FEL begins on page 8, and includes control valve, cylinder, and gear pump disassembly and reassembly along with exploded views and (old*) part numbers.

* This pdf was scanned from a manual that was printed in 1977/78. Some, if not all, of the part numbers have changed. So far, most of the part sources I use have been able to cross reference.

Thanks for info. Who did you get parts from for the loader valve? I am thinking about a front SSQH. May have to go with a different valve set for a grapple addition-but would be happy to fix what I have. Float position is long gone.

I get most of my Kubota parts from local dealers; I have 3 within a 30 minute drive. The parts for my control valve are coming from KubotaPartsDepot.com.
