looking to get other’s thoughts on this issue. Have had multiple issue with tractor losing power under pto load. Here is what I have done
Removed water separator replaced base
Blew line back to tank out and let it blow air to stir up anything in tank for bout 5 minutes
Drained tank into a jug through an automotive paint strainer
Nothing came from tank even after flushing it with 5 gal desiel
Treated tank with a desiel algae treatment
tractor runs good for bout 11/2-2 hours then starts losing power. Minor at first gets progressively worse. Was mowing yesterday pm after about cutting 8 acres it started losing power. Fuel level down to 1/4 tank. Put 5 gal clean fuel in this am mowed for bout hour no issues until very end. Since I done the steps above it seems to only do it once fuel level gets below 3/8 tank

everyone thoughtd

Have you opened the fuel cap when this happens to see if it helps. I’m wondering if you have a clogged vent that’s not allowing fuel to flow out of the tank.

You also need to check your fuel lines (supply and return) and make sure they aren’t collapsed or may have a pinhole leakin allowing the tractor to suck air.

All signs are point to a bad Supply (lift) pump.

After you blew out the lines and cleaned out the tank, did you replace the fuel filter?
It's after the supply pump yet before the high pressure pump.

Have eliminated vent as I took cap off and tied Trey cloth

yes. Not vent problem. Thinking it may be the supply pump as it seems to do it at as fuel gets lower

That is what I am thinking. Will try that tomorrow and if it doesn’t help I am going to drop tank and have it steamed cleaned and replace all lined

Update

baling hay yesterday and after about 45 minutes began to lose power. Fuel level down to 1/2 tank. Replaced supply pump. Went back today , didn’t add any fuel and baled for about 45- hour. Again lost power so I assume it was not the lift pump.
will drop tank first of week and have Dealership steam clean it. I still have about 5 acres to cut so I will see if this fixes it.

There is a PSB concerning losing power when the engine is at operating temperature. You should talk to your dealer about it.
PSB-2021-007-E-R1: M-Series; Countermeasure for Defective Fuel Injector on M6060, M7060, and M4

Take the post by Whitetiger extremely seriously. He is on the "inside" when it comes to Kubota so I suggest you do nothing more until you get your dealer to read the service bulletin.

White tiger. Is this like a recall? I have been to dealer numerous times and they have not mentioned it. This has been going on for couple years periodically

It is a Product Service Bulletin (PSB) that was published in early 2021.

I have personally found several units (12-15 engines) that failed the tests and have replaced the injectors with improved injectors. If it has a failed injector, you will notice a power difference with the engine warmed up and a load on it.

Went by dealership this am. Talked to owner and I have taken the tractor in for diagnostic. He and I don’t think it has anything to do with fuel/tank issues but he said he was putting it on computer. Will keep everyone postef

Looking at the PSB, I'm assuming that the "Serial Numbers" listed are the last five numbers in the full tractor serial number? The serial number for my M6060HDC ends with 68405 so hopefully this isn't something I need to worry about.

Well after tractor was put on diagnostics it has been determined that it is indeed the injectors.
At first we waited on Kubota to OK this under a warranty claim. I have owned this tractor since it was new and this issue has been an in going problem. Since tractor is out of warranty dealership was not sure if Kubota would pick up tab. They are going to and that kept my blood pressure down. White tiger I think you A bunch, because without your reply I don’t think this would have been done by dealer. My question to them was why for the last 3-4 years did they not ask me to bring it in to be checked knowing there was a PSB out for the very issues I was having

Where in the world did you find this info? I had all 4 injectors on my M6060 replaced at 192.6 hours. Now at 239 hours, the tractor is losing power again.

My 2014 M6060 had all 4 replaced at 192.6 hours. It cost me $4800. Now, at 239 hours, its the same problem again. I have a low serial number, 50xxx.

I bought my tractor brand new and they screwed me over. And from the looks of this PSB, these S.O.B.'s knew it, and they still charged me. I cant wait until Monday when I talk to the dealer to hear this explanation. I cant thank everyone enough for these posts about this problem. I'll repost with Kubotas' and the dealers action with this.

I dealt with a low power problem on My M7060 at around 50 hours, I measured fuel supply pressure under load, it was a negative pressure, I installed a higher volume supply pump and that cured the problem temporarily. Negative supply pressure can cause cavitation in the fuel system which damages high pressure components, the way I fixed the problem was replace it with an M5-091, that has positive fuel supply pressure.

2018

I have fought this the whole time I have had it. Dealer kept telling me it was. Fuel problem. We removed tank and had it washed, then it was. Algae problem, then they said it is sucking air at water separator, then it was supply pump. Had it not been for this forum I would still be trying to find it.
