I leave my back blade on for some ballast. Trying to figure a way to add weight to it.

Before I bought a ballast box for MX, I considered welding a bar across the back side of the rear blade that I could hang weights on. In the end I valued a box that did not hang back so far for ease of maneuverability in the woods / trails.

The first time I tried to lift something really heavy at an odd angle with my forks, one rear tire came off the ground.
Shorts turned brown. :poop:
An hour later, (after change of shorts) I ordered a ballast box.

Only takes once !

Be safe
I just ran into that earlier this week…. Had to take my implement off the back because I was moving in tight quarters dragging and picking up trees…. Left rear wheel came off the ground…. No worry, reversed the operation and it came back down. Dropped the tree for another grab.
I used to do stage management in live theatrical productions…. So nerves of… well, whatever! (Once I got a call: Jason, cast said the dressing room trailer is on fire, could you check it out?)
