Not New, but can't reset password

I switched over to Win10 last Dec. from Win7. I lost all my usernames and passwords, including but not limited to OTT. I tried to get my password reset using the PR feature about 2 dozen times - no e-mail, no joy.

Hence, I reregistered with new (but similar) username and new e-mail.

I'd appreciate a password reset for my old username sent to my new e-mail address.

Who wants to help?

You’d be surprised how many people don’t do that, I get emails everyday asking for tracking information, and 9 times out of 10 they’re in their spam folder, and they never looked.

Typical action:

Send the PR link
Sit there and watch my e-mail account for several hours while working - nothing
Search e-mail both by date and account (I assume it's some form of OTT) - nothing

That e-mail account is and has been hacked in the past, hence why I don't use it anymore. The e-mail under this username is my new e-mail address.

Are you using the same email to reset as you did to set it up?
If not there is your issue in why you can't do it yourself.

You need control of the account to change things like the email address and password.

The forum owner can do a reset without you having control.

The e-mail address that I'm sending the PR request to is the same one I used to sign up on OTT back in 2013.

It's the e-mail address associated with FTG-05.

Ok,
Part of the issue could be caused from when the forum changed software, it messed with some of the info that is used for the reset so you probably caught in a hidden loop.
Give it a bit, and it should get worked out.

I'm also having this problem. I've checked my spam folder and tried the password reset over several days. I am a lifetime member so I'd really like to get my previous ID back. (MOD DELETED)

I haven't logged in since last year.

I administer a forum that uses the same software. I tell everyone that if they lose their password and can't reset it, to email me with their username, updated email address, old email address, and what they want for a new password. I do all the updates and then email them back saying that everything has been corrected and that they should log in so I know that their account is fixed for them. This has worked on my forum forum since 2010. At the bottom of the main page, there is a clickable link that says "Contact us". click on that and it will bring you to another page. Scroll down until you see the "bosses" email address. It will work every time as long as you can prove your information, so there is no question that you are the owner of your account.

I deleted your email as if you'll notice a spammer / scammer logged on right after you more than likely trying steal info.
