I've got a L3000dt that has no hydraulics except power steering and 3pt. anyone have an easy way to tap into the existing hyd system that wont screw up the pws and 3 point. i already talked to dealer and kits from them no longer available to do this.

Its very easy but especially easy if you have a loader. Are you loaderless?

If you are you will need the hydraulic outlet block:

75543-91110

Still available but absurdly pricey at $410. From there its just some inexpensive commodity parts. A two spool valve with outlets might add another $500.

Get the overpriced block and you are 80% there.

hello, I was reading your comments and I have the same problem. I have a l3000dt and looking to just get the rear power beyond hookups to only run a chipper that has its own valve. I do have a loader and see that block your talking about. Is it a matter of just teeing into the existing power beyond line on it and running a line to the back and return it to the top of the rear end in the back?

You do not tee in. In your case the simplest hookup is to put a quick coupler on the power beyond outlet of your loader valve and use it for the chipper. Put the female half on the valve and the male half on the hose going back to the tractor. Connect them up for normal use.

Put a matching quick connect on the chipper - male half on on the inlet hose and female half on the outlet hose. When you want to use the chipper disconnect the loader coupler and hook the chipper up to the ends. When done hook the loader back up.

EZ-PZ.
