I acquired what appears to be a decently taken care of G5200 a couple weeks ago from a flipper. Looks like he got this from original owner.
He couldn't get it started so I got it pretty reasonably.
I got it running by adjusting the valves then spraying WD-40 in intake until it finally began running on its own.
But now there is a massive leak above rear injector. (It's not the return line, promise)
I have tried disconnecting the injector line and repositioning the compression fitting, but still leaking.
Such a seemingly simple issue, but it has me a bit stalled.
Would appreciate suggestions on how I should proceed....

Make sure the injectors line seat and the line/fitting is supper clean. Mine leak some when I got it running but I missed a small area of surface rust that got in between everything. Lots of pressure there and everything must be super clean and zero corrosion.
Even a small paint chip in there somewhere will not give a good torque.

If it's requiring you to spray wd40 in the intake to get it to start, then the engine is in need of a rebuild, probably because the compression is too low for it to start on it's own.

Either the fitting on the line or the fitting on the injector itself is dirty or damaged, possibly cracked.
Take it apart completely and inspect.

Sorry I wasn't clear. It only took WD-40 that first time as it hadn't been started in quite a while I'm guessing. I probably could have achieved the same results if I had bled the fuel system. I was very worried about compression also when it wouldn't do anything on starting fluid, but that's when I decided to adjust the valves.
Starts quite nicely now, just has the injector leak.
I will pull off injector line and inspect both surfaces closely.
Anybody have a spare injector line, just in case? 😁
And thank y'all so much for the responses! I'm very grateful!
