Howdy,
Got a MX5200 with the loader and bucket resting on the ground.

I need to get it on a trailer so is there a way to disengage the hydraulics and switch to "manual"...like a pressure release valve?

So that I can roll the tractor with the engine off and pick up up the loader so as to get it on the trailer.

The tractor mot starting is of course a separate issue.

Cheers

To roll the tractor, just put the gearbox in neutral, and put in 2wd.

Aight.

Second question...is there a risk with picking (lifting) up the loader/bucket with another piece of equipment, in which a valve would be damaged because there's nowhere for the oil to go?

In other words, we're gonna lift it with an excavator but don't know if because the tractor ain't on and the the hydraulics would become damaged by forcibly moving the loader.

I've owned this darn orange thing 4 hours 😐

The loader can easily support itself but dont use the boom or bucket as a lifting point for the tractor.

I think as you lift the loader, you can wiggle the joystick to let the fluid flow in/out as needed. Otherwise, you'll just pick up the front of the tractor.

Hey, you knew it was busted when you bought it. Y'all come back :)

I would imagine if the FEL was placed in float mode - you could lift it rather easily - then place back out of float to hold it there for a short period of time

If you lift the boom in float the base end of the cylinders will likely suck in a good bit of of air. Expect them to sag considerably when you let go.

if the engine turns over via starter, hold the loader lever to "lift" and crank the engine. It'll lift up with just cranking speed so long as it's got enough battery to do so. If it won't turn over, you can lift it manually no problem. Block the cylinders and it'll stay up. I have recovered many a tractor with the loader down, no issue. I've taken a few loaders off with a second tractor and Kubota's loaders come off easy for the most part. Real easy. Then just tow the tractor out of the way, so I could back the rollback up to it. If the loader ain't coming off, you can wiggle the winch cable up under the loader bucket and put the loader joystick in "float", and the loader will follow the cable right up the ramp. Had to pull a few on backwards, again cable under the implement if it had one that was down. Sometimes I had to dig a little or use a pry bar to lift it, than a piece of 2x4 to wedge under it to make clearance but it generally wasn't very hard to do.
