Local Kubota dealer now selling Orange Line trailers that can be financed with a tractor!

Awesome tractor too! Is the trailer a tilt model? The two jacks are interesting as well.

I might buy a new winch for my '98 Jeep TJ at some point, and then move the current Ramsey winch that's been on the Jeep for 22 years to the new deckover hydraulic tilt trailer (it has a plate for it in the floor already). The Ramsey is a single speed and not fast but speed isn't a big deal when hauling stuff onto a trailer.
Trailer bed is fixed, not a tilting model.

I don't know the extent of the relationship between Orange Line and Kubota but a very smart move to enable buyers to package deal a trailer into the financing.
Any Kubota dealer that also sells trailers from any manufacturer has been able to finance and insure a trailer with your Kubota purchase for many years now.

Any Kubota dealer that also sells trailers from any manufacturer has been able to finance and insure a trailer with your Kubota purchase for many years now.
But this Orange Line is the first time my local dealer is selling trailers, and they've decided to partner with a company that has "embraced" Kubota .... or that's the way it seems to me.

The local kubota dealer was having a sales event 800.00 off for 3 implements. We got the loader, tiller and mower. The wife was wondering about a trailer. For the same price as an orange one I can find a heavy duty skidloader trailer. 5k on a heavy duty trailer up front, or 60.00 added to your monthly payments which one seems better......

How many months? $60 for 72 months is a total of $4,320. Less money to be paid in total, and you get to keep your money for all that time.

Are you financing for longer than 72 months?

The usual answer on finance questions is that at zero interest, and the same total outlay either way, the money is better in your pocket than theirs. So long as you have the discipline and ability to make sure you pay it and get no penalties. This is even more true in a high inflation environment - the money you're paying with in 5 years time could be worth only 70% of the money today.

But it's hard to say for your numbers here without knowing how long you're financing for. I suspect your $60 per month is approximate only, and it's probably more like $70 a month. In which case.....add to the finance package you're already getting.

What are you comparing? What HD skid loader trailer and which Orange Line trailer? The heaviest duty Orange Line appears to be the EQ16 so did you get a quote on that model?

What are you comparing? What HD skid loader trailer and which Orange Line trailer? The heaviest duty Orange Line appears to be the EQ16 so did you get a quote on that model?
Where we bought the tractor from they only offered the tu60 and tu70 models. 16, 18, and 20 ft rated for 7 and 8k. The tu70 was 5,500 or 72.00 added onto the payments.

15 minutes away north or south a trailer place. Had a 20.ft load trail skidloader trailer rated at 14k for 6,000.

I'm assuming the eq16 is closer to that load trail. For some one just hauling around the tractor, helping family or planting food plots up north those trailer options would work. I have other farm equipment and bales to move and for the best bang for the buck I'm going to get something bigger and heavier than what my dealer has to offer.

Sounds like you're making the best choice for you. I'm not endorsing Orange Line or suggesting that buying a trailer from a Kubota dealer is a good idea or a good deal. Just making an observation about my local dealer who just started to offer trailers.

My trailer buying days are over. I have quite a few and don't need any more. :unsure:

My trailer buying days are over. I have quite a few and don't need any more. :unsure:
It's good to have numerous trailers, you don't need a 20 footer for the atv.....but than you might have endless supply of friends needing help moving haha. I think the trailer package is a good idea and combining it into the payments it doesn't look so bad. It just wasn't for me, for my use. It might be ideal for the next guy through the door though and that's okay. Whatever works.

We're financing for 72 months. The numbers I was tossing out there were just approx from what the sales guy was showing us. I just refering to what would the average person do on paper numbers, package deal, or bigger trailer.

My understanding from my dealer is Orange Line Trailers are BigTex trailers. Last year I was looking to get OL TH10 20' but the pricing were skyrocketing. Talking with my Kubota dealer, they were very upset when I was able to find a Big Tex 10CH 20' dovetail for a significant savings over the OL TH10. I paid less for the 10CH then they could buy the TH10.

On a side note, the Big Tex 10CH is a great trailer, but at least on my Sierra 1500, it will knocking the fillings out of your teeth if it is not loaded. With the tractor on it, it is smooth and follows well.
