Back in December 2022 right after I purchased my BX2380 I purchased a six foot bucket cutting edge. My plan was to shorten and drill and counter sink Machine Allen head bolts with serrated locking flange nuts. Well, I finally finished it up after having extra flange nuts after completing wheel weight mounting project.

Nice work, but why didn't you just buy the Kubota part? Yours appears to be a heavier grade of steel than the Kubota part, but I have been satisfied with the quality of the Kubota edge for my use.

Wow! Great job and it looks great! Have you tried it yet?

Plow Bolts - is that what you used?
And you can usually find these cheaper at a farm store.

No haven't had a chance to try it yet.
I used 82 degree tapered Allen head machine screws/bolts counter sunk to wear surface. They use a 5/16th allen insert tool.

Why-O-Why are you using SAE bolts on a Japanese tractor? Yes, I know it was made in Georgia.

Looks just like the Kubota edge I bolted to the new weld-on cutting edge on my BX2230 a while back.

Thanks, Kubota's bolt on bucket lip is pretty good and the stock edge is fairly durable and hold up. My older B5100DX lip held up well. The only reason I installed was because it fit better on my BX then holding the wall up :)

?, if your referring to me saying takes "5/16 Allen tool". Which is used to hold bolt in place while torquing nut in place with blue lock tight, just because it was there.
It's a blank hole that I put the bolts through. Kubota hardware kit for lip install kit (carriage bolts and nylock nuts) not sure what threads are, possibly Metric. or just hardware installing dealer has or puts together.
It's not like mixing Phillp screws and slotted screws when assembling wood project. ;):D, keeping it light.
