I have an SVL75-2 that operates normally from the controls and when you lift the bucket stays level but when you lower the arms the bucket curls downward and won’t stay level. You can level the bucket using the controls but if you just lower the arms the bucket drastically dumps. I have found 2 videos on YouTube with the same problem but they don’t have the answer either. I was hoping someone else has had this issue and can give me some advice.
thank you
Mike

Sounds like your machine has a hydraulic self-leveling feature that's not working correctly. Kubota offers such a kit for my LA1154 loader on my tractor so you might need a trip to the dealership.

For what it’s worth my bobcat does the same thing. Only auto levels when raising, not lowering. Ive only seen dual self leveling on a Cat. would be interested to hear what the dealer says.

I’m a mechanic for a large rental company. We have probably 10-15 of these just in our location and I checked several others to see and they all stay level. I checked for debris in valves first because that’s a common issue when this happens on Bobcats. We’ve only had these for a year at the most so there haven’t been many problems and their tech help is non existent. Bobcat has really good resources and training, Kubota on the other hand say “take it to the dealer”.

Ok cool thanks I’ll ask my bobcat service guys about it tomorrow. Mine is a 2016 so it may have an issue if it’s supposed to dual auto level. Thanks again!

Just got off the phone with Bobcat service, and confirmed for my machine anyway, dual Leveling is not a function. It only auto-levels on the way up.

What model? Was it an option you didn’t get? I checked out

i can’t speak for all models or options but I worked on an S70 and a T770 yesterday and they both have auto leveling going up and down. I don’t know if it’s an option, we have several different models here, I know I have to do a fuel tank on a 590 Monday, I’ll check it to see if it autolevels as well though. I assumed it was a standard feature on all bobcats?

it’s a 2016 T770. I bought it used about 3 years ago so I didn’t make the decisions on options. Service manager is the one that told me that. Normally I would take that with a grain of salt but I have dealt with him quite a bit and has shown himself to be both knowledgeable and a person of integrity to make the things right.

For anyone who’s found this thread looking for the same issue the answer was a software update from Kubota.
