B6100D Parts Questions(s)

Anyone know where this 1X1.4X1.75 block of Im sure was once rubber (its a bit hardened over time) should go? Fell off while cleaning/tinkering with the little bully 6100.

Are you sure its not a block of wood. If it is wood it could be to prop the clutch pedal down to keep the clutch from sticking to the flywheel during storage. I am fairly certain the original equipment block was made of wood.

The wood block I have looks exactly like that shape and it fits between the clutch pedal and the foot step (rest) and holds the clutch plate off of the flywheel for long term storage. The grain of the wood is across the block exactly as the lines on the picture above shows.

It is a dark brown color when new so I imagine that is exactly what you have.

Well i'll be damned... it is wood! I just assumed it was >40 year old hardened rubber!
Let me see if i can find it on parts digram to see exactly where it goes.

It fits wherever it can hold the clutch pedal partly down,

That is a collector's item. I don't think many of those survived. That was part of the original toolkit. It was made out of hardwood. I'm sure it was made out of the same type of wood that your tractor was crated in when it was brought here to the United States.

Thanks - So its wedged under the clutch pedal to hold it partly down and the main purpose of that is so you dont have to press the clutch with your foot to turn over it when you are working on it?

That was part of the original toolkit.

Not at all!
The "main purpose" is to hold the clutch surface away from the flywheel, to prevent the clutch from sticking to the flywheel while the tractor sits....unused.
Many folks have learned to use such a block....the hard way.
The tractor is unusable with a stuck clutch, and it happens often, when clutch type tractors sit for longer periods.
If I plan to leave a tractor for more than a month I "block" the clutch.

Round pedal rod in the notch and flat side up against the bottom of the step on the tractor

But any block/piece of wood that fits the spot will work.

Anyone know what would/should be connected to the orange wire above rear PTO? Was nothing connected there when I bought. The ground wire looks like add-on the orange...not sure.

Color and location would make it a fender flashing light.
But the blue wire is added, non stock, and the orange wire might be added too.
