Kubota 7040 no Cab rear valves for 3 way hydraulic blade

I have 2 rear hydraulic remotes that have quit working, could be just cables ? I would like to install a cheaper 2 to $300 3 lever control behind seat because when controlling the blade I have to twist in the seat to see the blade and it would be more comfortable to reach over the back of the seat to control the blade . Also would save thousands of dollars on Kubota remotes. Any recommendations ?

I'm not sure what you meant by 'three lever control". Are you thinking of a three spool unit, something on the order of this? Or something else entirely.

These are inexpensive and reliable. You will also need the power beyond sleeve which is sold sepatately.

Remember the 3 pt hitch is tied into the rear remote circuit and the relief valve for the 3 pt and remotes is the same located at the rear of the machine however, the relief valve on the loader valve is the master control. You cannot get higher rear pressures than you have the loader relief set to.

Do you have one pair of rear remotes or two? Machines come with one pair and more are optional up to three pair.
You can disconnect the rear remote cable(s) at the valves and move their lever by hand to verify their operation.

You could move the rear remote controls anywhere in the cab. Just a simple cable.

I have purchased and received the Monoblock 3 spool 11gpm from summit hydraulics but now realize I will need 2 hose connections for the Power Port and return to tank . Any recommendations on where to connect to my Kubota M7040 ?

You will have three hose connections - pressure IN from loader valve, power beyond back to tractor (factory remotes), and a new tank return. I cant tell you where those connection points are until I look at the parts book.

I had a chance to look at the parts books. You have an open station machine and I assume a loader as well. Here is the main pressure delivery pipe (power beyond from the loader) going to the rear. This is probably the easiest point to plumb in your new 3 spool valve.

1. Disconnect/remove this pipe and run a hose to the IN port on the new valve.
2. Then connect the power beyond port on the new valve to the port on the side of the transmission where the pipe was connected. You will probably need a new adapter to match your hose for that port connection. My guess is the port is BSPP but you need to confirm that before jamming something in.
3. Finally you need to run a tank return for the new valve. The second parts diagram is the plumbing for the loader valve. It varies some depending on the type of loader valve but they all seem to have the tee fitting I have circled in the diagram. Run a hose from teh tank port on your new valve to that tee junction.

All done and ready to hook up the outlets.

Looks like your tractor has an 11 GPM flow so 1/2" would be preferred.
