There are 5 different models of B2150.

B2150, B2150D, B2150E, 2150HSD, & B2150HSE

The relay is typically referred to as a timer relay as its function is to briefly power the engine stop solenoid to stop the engine. It does not power the solenoid to start the engine.

If the engine wont start, unplug the engine stop solenoid and try. The engine should start.

Why do you think you need this part?

Oh I know what it does, it has a capacitor within it that sends power to the solenoid for roughly 10 secs after the ignition is switched off, it has a switched feed, constant feed, ground and feed to the single wire that goes to the solenoid.

It’s faulty, I had removed it the other day and I’m not with it just now and need to order the part.

I’ll have to find what exact model it is, not with the tractor just now.

A little update on this. There is a Ventrac 4520 in the workshop which has the same set up as the B2150 and even though I had tested the relay on the 2150 and made sure there was power etc getting to it on there I decided to take the one off the Ventrac and put it on the 2150 to see if it would work.

I didn’t have a schematic for the Ventrac ( found one now ) so had to disconnect the connector that goes to the solenoid and listen for the relay which you can easily hear roughly 10 seconds after turning the ignition off. As usual it was well hidden, anyway I put it on the 2150 and it works as it should, there is power now getting to the solenoid connector.

So relay and solenoid needed. Apparently it hasn’t worked for many many years, the solenoid is seized solid.
