Early morning, East Texas.

Probably spend the day clearing Privet Hedge off of a few fence lines. Could be worse. Some folks are still waiting for snow to melt.

I assume that is the western sky? I was wondering last night what the really really bright "star" was.
Yes western, you could possibly be seeing Venus or Jupiter, or both. they are both really bright and lined up to see now.

If I had noticed Dishy McFlatface (Starlink), I would have known that was west. Since Dishy faces North when between the 40-49th parallel
I'm a guessing I see Jupiter. My western view is obstructed by trees like yours. I can't see much that is low on the horizon.

Very observant, I have both Dishy Mcflatface and Stinky (rectangle dish).

Couple of days ago I notice this unique looking robin.
I've never seen a robin with white feathers on it's head.

Today I took these two photos about 1/2 hour apart and less than 300 yards apart.
It kind of sums up central Wisconsin spring weather for me. Bluebird starting a nest in one of the nesting boxes and ruffed grouse walking around in a foot of snow! lol

Took a break from using the chainsaw and loader to clean up storm debris to take some photos of the cardinal who was watching me work. About another hour of limb removal and I will be using my new Kubota F2690 to mow grass for the first time :)

I bought a new Bluebird box yesterday afternoon and had it up on a t-post by early evening. I've made a number of boxes in the past, but for $17 and made from Cedar it's hard to beat. This morning I had the first interested party show up. Not sure if they'll be moving in, but if they don't, I guess there's just no pleasing some couples! :)

Nice! We have a few feeders and both my wife and I enjoy watching the birds although I just fired a shot to get a couple dozen crows to move on.

Looks like the bluebird housing market is still booming. My sister's are all occupied.

Another sister sent me this. For the second year, a duck's laying its eggs in her flower bed.

I could go through and like them all! - some very nice photography. Sad the DP Review site is shutting - will need to find alternatives like this.

I al learning how to photograph lacrosse as our team learns to play in their first season. We both have a steep learning curve!

I am glad I am safely on the sidelines with this sport.
