Creeps, B2620 HYD doesn’t center

I have looked around for answer to this problem but can’t figure it out. Whenever I remove foot from pedal it will continue to creep in that direction. I just removed the damper so pedal would move freely and it does same thing, will try to attach video. Can’t see much underneath that controls the centering of pedal, all linkage moves freely. I guess I can’t attach video. Thank you.

A few years ago (4-5?) at least a couple OTT members had similar issues with B2650’s. I recall one documented it and the fix well.

Don’t recall if it was an issue with the damper on the linkage, but it wasn’t a major ordeal if my memory serves.

If you use the Search function on OTT for creep, you might find some posts specific to B2650.

Same here…. I don’t do much YouTube, and sure as shYt don’t know how to do that either.

I misread your model number and posted B2650 links. My bad and my apologies. Definitely time to change my bifocals….

Just guessing it could still be something similar to your B2620.

You may want to check on a reply that North Idaho Wolfman posted back in 2016. He lists the parts that are involved in centering the pedal.

HST Pedal Damper

Went to look at a friends B2620 this weekend. He bought it used and the hydro pedals do not neutral (center.) Everything moves freely. So I removed that HST damper, the thing that looks like a shock with the rubber boot over it. (part # 6C350-4335-0) Is this part supposed to center? When I push...

I will try to find that, I took a closer look at it when I put damper back in, linkage all moves free, can’t see any springs, maybe issue inside transmission, hope not

There is an external spring, if your missing it no wonder it's not staying in neutral.
The WSM will explain how to adjust it.
If it does it randomly forward and reverse the bearing is out.

I just don’t see any external springs connected to the pedal rocker, like I said earlier when I removed the damper to free up the linkage, the linkage just kinda floats in neutral position. Just took a picture, springs for brake but nothing on shift pedal.

The spring and linkage that Wolfman highlighted in the picture are inside the frame. You can not see them without laying under the tractor and looking up through the opening.

Try tightening nuts number 120 in the diagram that Wolfman posted. It puts tension on spring number 100 which helps with the pedal tension and return to neutral position. I have had to adjust that on my B 2920

Yes, the bolt with the nuts sticks straight down about in the middle of the tractor under the operator platform. Crawl under and you should see it. It is double nutted, so you will need 2 wrenches.
