Will rear remotes work with a single port ram?
I've been looking to build or modify a dump trailer to use around my property behind my B2601 for dirt, stone, and exp wood chipping.
I found a dump trailer but it has a telescopic hydraulic cylinder so it is power up gravity down and raises a few questions.
1. If i add rear remotes with the float detent id imagine i could have pressure up then float would be gravity down? Or dose float just open the ports between supply and return after the valve? if that is the case moving valve other way would dead head the pressure side while opening return.
2. If rear remotes did work dose tractor have enough of a reservoir to fill a ram without running pump dry. Ram is approx. 2.7 Gallons

Maybe self contained Hydraulic system with 12v battery would be better.

Float connects inlet and both work ports to tank.

To use a DA valve with a SA cylinder all you need to do is connect the "extra" remote outlet to tank.
