L6060 wheel spacer size recommended

Have an l6060 and use it up in the Highlands NC area, I want it to have a wider footprint for stability on the land we have, some steeper hills and uneven areas, I want to feel more stable when working. 3 inch or 6in?? is a 6 too big?

Assuming you have a FEL - I would stay under that bucket width. Not sure your numbers, 6" might be a bit much, then again it might be perfect for that large of a machine.

Do have the FEL, 6 ft. Tractor is roughly 66 inches. I'll be 3 inches wider each side going full 6" spacers. maybe ill go 4" spacers. Thanks for the quick reply.

The inner wheel disk relative to the outer rim can be placed in several positions. You need to identify if you have liquid in the tires as well. The owners manual gives spec as to what the widest position for your machine. The wheels are very heavy and you must have the appropriate tools to work on it. From the picture you post, they can be moved further out. Those are the r4 tires. I suggest placing those in the second from widest spot. Then have the tires filled with ballast or add wheel weights.

My tractor rears are set to the widest configuration. About 1/2 of the rear tires stick out past the rear fender. This may help you visulise the spacing, dealer took right rear and mounted on left side and did the same with the left rear to right side. Tires measure 72" width overall, outside edge to outside edge.
