I recently picked up a Danuser G2040 PHD for my L2500, which is rated for 20-40 HP tractors. It has a standard 40" auger attached. The issue I am running into is I do not have enough ground clearance to lift the auger on the back of the tractor. There are no adjustments on the PHD. I am pretty sure the 3 points are on correctly. The bar is on the top toplink setting. On the 2 bottom link bars, the right side does have 2 additional holes closer to the PTO but the left side does not. Any tricks or ideas on how to get this unit to fit?

Most top links have 3 holes on the tractor side and each hole has a different lift angle. Also on my 3ph lift arms there are additional holes . The pin in the bottom hole will increase lift of the hitch.

Is the top link fully extended? As noted by jyoutz, there should be three holes where the top link goes.

Pics would help. Surely there is a solution....but might entail modifying the attachment point on the auger arm.

The height adjustment is built into the main arm in some form. Glad you got it sorted out.

FWIW.... since you have moved to the lower hole to get more lift your augered holes may not turn out to be vertical.
Trick is to creep the tractor a bit for the last 1/2 of the depth. Will give you a vertical hole but slightly elongated at the surface.

Easily remedied. Weld another pivot point just behind the factory one if what you are doing now becomes unsatisfactory. Enjoy your auger and be careful with it.
Don't let anyone get near the auger itself. Been some horrible accidents over the years involving PHD's.

You may not have this on your 3-point lower links, but mine have a second hole in each that are a few inches closer to the tractor that I can pin the the lifting links to, which increases the operating up/down range quite a bit at the ends of the lift arms. Made the PD15 able to clear the ground. I also use this setting with my chipper so it can lower down beter in uneven terrain.
