For any moderator or member that knows what I need to do.

Anytime someone responds to a thread I've either commented in or in a thread I've started, I am still receiving email notifications, is there a way to turn off the emails? Here are the settings I have in my account, and I made these changes weeks ago..

I am in the same boat. I tried everything and nothing work. I guess it is not a flaw of the system so it must be a "feature".

Perhaps deselect the automatic watch options. I am not sure exactly what that implies. Also remove all conversations you are currently following.

I'd still like to know if a thread has a new response when I visit the site (which is pretty much daily), as those notifications are nice, but I just don't need emails constantly pinging my inbox.. If I do have to remove all notifications as a fix, I'll do so, but hopefully someone has more insights around the backend coding for this function?

When reading in a forum, scroll up to the top of the page and click "unwatch." (assuming you've previously clicked on "watch.") That ought to fix it.

I used the conversations option in my profile to selectively edit what I was following. Seemed to dp what you want.

After you changed settings did you scroll to the bottom of that page and hit save?
Also you may have to Log out and Log back in.

For sure hit save, since I made the changes weeks ago.

Had not logged out and back in again, until just now, we'll see what that does for me.

Thanks,
Greg
