I've been wanting to upgrade mine too. I'm just not sure my little dynamo can handle the extra load of a light bar. And since our headlights are nothing more than a standard automotive type 1157 tail/brake bulb, then I'm going to give this a try... http://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-1157-Bay...Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a6f6618a3&vxp=mtr It will cost me $20 to find out if it's an improvement or not, but I already know they can't suck any worse:D

I would also be interested in hearing how these bulbs turn out. Seems like they would make an improvement on brightness.

Not familar with your machine so the lamps may actually be an automotive standard. Found that mine were not.

On one of mine I have a headlamp bulb that has odd nomenclature and looks and 'almost' fits like an 1157 but definitely isn't when energized and shining.

You might want to confirm the Kubota part number and even try one from dealer just to see if it makes a difference.

Bulb from dealer was $9 online and I almost didn't do it. Glad now I did. Noticeable difference in light output and beam pattern.

Looked everywhere for an aftermarket replacement that matched the OEM bulb ID markings but had no luck. Tracked down and talked with three different bulb mfgs engineering depts and had zero luck. Did learn some Kubota bulbs are manufactured under proprietary contracts and not available aftermarket.

The lights came in Thursday, but I haven't had time to get them installed and take pics. And it's only because our archery season opened this past Monday and I feel like I need to be in the woods every spare second I have lol. But I'll try to git-r-done tomorrow night.:D
