I have figured out how to disassemble the single acting cylinders without gland caps. If you remove the input line fitting you can align the rod base with the hole. Inside you will find a circlip that is retaining the assembly together. Use a small screwdriver and try to flick the circlip toward the length of the rod. This will allow it to fall into a second grove and be positioned for reassembly. Once this clip is in the second grove, it will allow the rod to be removed, and new seals installed. Hopefully this will help some forum members some money and they can purchase just the seals instead of a new cylinder. This one came off a g2160 which Kubota does not list as rebuildable(seals). If you take measurements, there are online vendors, or local hydraulic shops that can get the seals.
