Hoping someone else has had this issue and knows how to fix.
I have an old Kubota L3650 that had a brush hog on the PTO which hit a rock and sheared the shear pin.... the person doing the maintenance on the tractor prior to me seems to have used a harder shear bolt than recommended. It did shear, however it also sent a shock up the pto shaft and seems to have broken a part that attaches to the PTO shaft or perhaps sheared a small pin on the selector where it attaches to the PTO shaft.
How do we get into that spot on the tractor to fix... it seems to be not connecting to the PTO shaft right where the selector attaches to the PTO.... is the only way to get into that spot to break the tractor in half or is there an easier way.. maybe down through the steering column?
Really appreciate any advice please.
