Good morning. First time poster. I have just purchased a 1200 hour, open station, 4WD, 2001, L3710. Everything on the machine works as it should except if you raise the 3 point hitch control lever to the top. Then the loader becomes very jerky to the point it will not raise the boom. The bucket curl appears fine. You can hear the engine sound change and the the loader hoses jump. If the hitch control is lowered to the half-way position or lower, the engine sounds normal and the loader is perfectly operational. I thought there might be an adjustment, but at this point I can not see one. The previous owner, (2nd), said that is just how he used it. Any thoughts. Thank you in advance.

The feedback linkage on the 3pt arms needs to be adjusted. As is the three point lift control valve is not returning to neutral at the top of travel and the lift circuit is blocking the loader.

Thanks Dan, You are correct. The link rod is actually broken. Seems the part it is connected to in the valve body is seized, or at leased not movable. Is it possible it is a bushing problem OR is there something in the valve body that is restrictive??

There is a WorkShop Manual on-line at Kubotabooks. You want part 2. Your model may have draft control as well as position control. You can see the parts at Messick's site of the Kubota site.

Thanks Wolfman. I am from Canada so went to Kubota .ca parts and found the appropriate info. The 3 point position shaft was seized in the housing. Probably from lack of use. With a wee bit of heat and a whole lot of lube it freed up nicely. Now works as it should. Thank you for all whose that contributed. Great forum.
