I own a BX2660 what are the biggest size tires that i can put on this tractor?
Will these fit = Rear turf tires size 29 x 12.5 - 15 Front turf tires size 20.5 x 8 - 10.
I found these for sale [$400] with the rims they come off a B7100 HST

YOU can place any tires you wish on both axles ------- as LONG as you never use 4wd!!!!!

The rolling circumference must be plus/minus 2% in order to be "ok" and not cause the drivetrain to fail.

There is very little you can do to match front and back and keep everything in the correct ratio other than keep the OEM tire/rims.

I'm wondering what the advantage would be to larger tires on a BX

There rears on the BX are "ok" - but those little small things they call rim/tires on the front are well - pitiful! Yeah - I know, some engineer has calculated that those will suffice with the loads generated by the FEL - but those little bitty tires are problematic!

Our front and rear tires are nowhere near the same rolling circumference, let alone within 2%! The axles have to have different gear ratios in order to make the front and rear drive the same speed.

@Chad D. the stock design ratio of the tires is obviously fine for t tractor. A new set of wheels or tires can not change the existing rolling circumference ratio by some limit (2% stated by others above but not 100% clearly to me = could be interpreted as a 2% above or below range or as a 1% above and below range compared to the stock ratio).

Hopefully that clears up the “ratio“ difference being discussed.
