L2195 Snow blower hydraulic chute rotation hose replacement

Item # 005 HOSE 1/4X112" 3, blew on the tractor which controls the chute rotation for the L2195 snow blower.

Does anyone have the details on what I need to tell a local hydraulic shop to have one built for me?

This would be faster then ordering through Messicks

Take it off and to the shop. They'll
duplicate it.

Same happened to me this year, chute rotation hose split, took it to my Kubota dealeship and the parts rep made one up in about 10 minutes.

Did they warranty the replacement hose?

I was trying to save a trip going to the tractor but it all worked out, O'reillys can make hydraulic hoses and duplicated it

If you're asking me, about that Kubota dealership replacement hose they made, I have no idea if there's a warranty. The receipt has been filed by wife. Not going looking.

I do know it cost me just over half of what the list price is for that hose on Kubota parts finder site. And the replacement shop-made hose stock is actually a lot beefier than the factory original hydraulic hose!

I am fairly sure that if the new hose they made broke because of defect or improper ends installation that they'd replace it for free just because. Otherwise I would guess there's no warranty on it. Not an issue, I trust their shop, they've treated me quite well!

I also advise hose protection. For the stuff that you don't want to pull apart, the spiral wound covers work great.
