Very standard and as you can see that solenoid valve is mounted to the loader post in the exact spot the EZ-PZ kit mounts. They won't play together.

Thats a known issue and I just spent about an hour in the shop mocking up a bracket for ROPS mounting. As soon as I get a valve mounted and can verify the fit I will be sending a drawing off to get a few laser cut. The only difference is going to be the length of the hose runs so the price of the ROPS version of the kit will be just a few dollars more than the loader version but the reduced cost for the hoses for rear remotes will more than offset that. It will be a neater and cheaper way to add rear outlets.

Awesome, Let me know how you make out!

as the old saying goes...Necessity is the mother of invention!

Thanks for all the help.

What i was thinking is replace that valve with something like this from Summit

If the ports match, the only new hoses would be from the valve to the QC's. One issue with any of the electric valves is no float option.

You are more than welcome. The EZ-PZ project came about because people come here almost daily looking for help adding remotes to their tractor. The plumbing seems to baffle most owners and I decided to make it so easy a cave man could do it.

On my BX24, I made a quick attach valve setup that plugs into my backhoe hookups. I can also hook it up inline with the backhoe to operate my homemade thumb.

Now I have questions about the quick disconnects…
if you have a need for a disconnect at the rear remotes and the valve is mounted on the ROPS can you just put the disconnect onto the valve or does it need to be mounted on something else that supports the disconnect? And what threaded connections are on the disconnect itself? I see a lot with NPT but hardly any other connection. Are they available in ORB style at all? Or is it always some adapter from NPT to port thread (or hose end)?

l am not a big fan of the NPT method for hydraulic pressures and am curious what is actually available on the disconnect bodies.

The port spacing on the valves is too close together to mount couplers directly on the ports.

Another issue with mounting couplers on valves is the dificulty of providing breakaway protection and/or one hand push/pull operation

I share your dislike of NPT and I try to use couplers with ORB ports as much as possible. They are readily available and only cost a buck or two more than NPT. There are other types of connections available but at a significant cost.

I also try to use panel mounted couplers with double acting sleeves. That gives you breakaway protection and allows one handed push/pull operation. An example below. Kubota really cheaped out on the outlets they used for factory remotes on the L01 machines.

Thank you for the information. So there is some short run of hose or tube between the valve and the rear panel mount disconnect or just a disconnect hanging on the end of the hose from the valve and also from the hose coming from the cylinder.

Could you provide a link to the disconnect with ORB connections since I have not seen one after searching for it?

I am not sure what you are asking wrt tube/hose.

Heres an inexpensive coupler with ORB port and one way sleeve:

A two way sleeve panel mount version:

Here is a much more expensive coupler with ORB port. It is designed for rigid base mounting and push/pull connect under pressure operation.

Here is a male thread version designed for mounting directly on a valve with metric (M22) ports.

I was just saying that if the disconnect can not be scr directly into the valve then something (hose or steel tube) has to connect the valve to the disconnect

and thank you for the links to the various disconnects
