Wall Control is sturdy steel pegboard available in various colors, and it's helping me get control of my workbench in the tractor shed. I picked orange to honor my Kubota, with some blue fixtures. Nicely painted, Wall Control looks more expensive than it is.

Next I'm going to add some magnets above the pegboard, on the second run just past the saw, for wrenches. It's kind of tight, but I'm determined to get the workbench more clear . . .

looks like you need a few projects as we can SEE your workbench !!!
I keep building new benches, as the others are 'cluttered'....
..up to 9 now...only 63 days until Spring, maybe I'll clean then up then .....

Jay, my two mainstay workbenches are on the other side of the wall! Land slopes so much here that this little brick outbuilding has the single-car bay (now tractor) on one level, and you step down into the other side. Hard to get used to my tools on both sides. But I've overhauled the other side too and may end up liking the separation.

The tractor side includes paint and painting storage and auto tools. The other is woodworking, vise, long tools and pruning equipment.

Okay, now I am really ashamed of my work bench. Great job.

In the spring I will need to do a large house cleaning and find my work table top again.

Thanks, Mike. I am an obvious rookie at mechanical things. I'm absurdly proud that I at least do the basic services on my tractor. My carpentry is rough. I am proud of my pruning skills and now have most of my saws and poles and shears hung on the other side of the wall shown.

Very nice. Your pictures inspired me to head out to the garage and start getting things back in order. I looked around for about 3 minutes, then decided to go check and refill the Tomcat bait stations I have around the outside of the sheds. Maybe tomorrow:)

chim, I have two Tomcat bait stations on one side of the garage/shop and two on the other! Two in the furnace room of the house. Got more ordered for outside the barn and sheds. They are obscenely expensive for what they are, a small plastic box with steel pegs inside for bait. But they work and do appear to last.

How do you like the radial arm saw? That is a sweet setup.

That saw was one reason I cleaned up the place—the previous owner left it, and I haven't used it yet! I've never run one, and have to do my research too.

I should probably get a few more too. I have 3 at the sheds and 2 at the house. Google says they can be had for around $12 at some places. My oldest stations have been around for a long time and are as good as new.

All i know about radial arm saws is to use only blades with zero- or negative-hook angle, to prevent self feeding, especially if you're trying to rip with it. Not like regular portable circular saw blades.
