Maybe someone can solve the confusion with this. In the manual is mentions removing and clean the hydraulic suction screen but when I look for it it is not obvious. Also somewhere in here it says the new tractors do not have one. So which is it and where might it be if there is one??

Are you refering to the screen inside the hard line going into the side of the case ?

Hi Kuboman
The Hydro "B" tractors, including the B3200 use a suction screen on the suction pipe to the hydro charge pump. The hydro oil filter is after the charge pump so it doesn't directly protect it. The filter is in the line just behind the hydro filter on the right side of the tractor. These tractors do not use a screen in the suction to the main hydraulic pump because the hydraulic filter is in that line so it protects the hydraulic pump and all the hydraulic components downstream from it.

Thanks for the info. I know where it is now. Any suggestions on how often this should be cleaned after the initial break in?:)

It certainly can't hurt to check it any time you have the transmission oil dropped. I have rarely seen anything much in that screen though. If you experienced a failure inside the transmission,( ie. broken gear, failed pump, or bearing) this screen will protect your Hydrostatic charge pump, no failure, probably nothing much in the screen.
The first time you remove it it likely will have some pieces of silicon from the gasket sealant that Kubota use to seal up the joints in your tractor.

I had a look again and the line looks like it could be a bit of a pain to get at. At least it is the line behind the spin on filter and not the one below it?

the line goes forward and curves up over the hydro filter. it is the largest line on that side of the tractor
